Serve these super easy, cheesy crescent pizza rollups for football parties, holiday appetizers, and weeknight meals… just add a salad! They’re fun to make and kids will love them!

It’s been a different summer for us this year. Austin is a very outdoorsy city, and with a new baby, that presents some challenges. The days we would have been swimming the springs and slurping cold cocktails were replaced with just trying to keep cool indoors and ride out the 100+ degree afternoons. With working air conditioning, stashes of freezer pops and a cuddly baby, that wasn’t the worst fate. But, we love to get out and have fun. So, now, as the weather is cooling and everyone’s emerging from their climate controlled homes, there are more chances for long breezy walks, patio lounging and get-togethers with friends!
For my husband and I, that means a little more sanity. A little more getting back the social butterflies we are. And a big, warm (well, hopefully not too warm) welcome to the fall season. For the blog, that means more fun autumn appetizers. And these doughy, cheesy crescent pizza rollups are an absolutely delicious new fave.

… And you hardly need a recipe for them!
Layers of flaky, buttery pastry envelope creamy mozzarella string cheese and rounds of salty pepperoni. You can use your own favorite pizza toppings, though I found this classic combo the most quick and easy. Just tuck ’em all together into a tasty bundle, bake for 12 minutes, and you have the perfect party appetizer full of gooey pizza goodness. They are SO delicious dipped in bubbly hot marinara sauce.
You can also serve these rollups for a super simple weeknight meal – just toss together a quick salad for the side, and dinner is done. Kids will love them!

Pepperoni Pizza Crescent Rollups

- 32 slices pepperoni
- 4 pieces mozzarella string cheese, cut in half
- Garlic powder, for sprinkling
- Italian seasoning, for sprinkling
- Marinara sauce, for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Unroll crescent rolls on a lightly floured surface; cut into triangles. Top the widest end of each triangle with 4 pieces pepperoni, then a piece of string cheese. Roll up and tuck corners in to keep cheese from oozing out. Place on a baking sheet.

- Enjoy!
